Lesley Andrew

General Manager

With 40 years’ experience in nursing and social care management, I am delighted to be able to join the Signature at Wandsworth Common team as General Manager. Working as a General Manager and Regional Director for another care provider, I was the first in my organisation to receive an Outstanding rating with the Care Quality Commission. I went on to receive Outstanding ratings for two other homes, which is a significant achievement and one I am confident in repeating at Signature at Wandsworth Common.

I am delighted to join Signature as their dedication to offering luxury living with exceptional care is a vision shared by me. I am excited about bringing a diverse and inclusive team together that is committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents, welcoming the community into our home and delivering person-centred care in a 5-star setting.

Signature at Wandsworth Common is a unique opportunity for me in that few care homes are built in such a central location, to such a high standard and with such attention to environmental sustainability, safety and technological innovation. For example, our hotel-style interactive televisions allow residents to book appointments, order room service and even contact friends and family via Skype or FaceTime.

I believe that being part of something so special from the very start is a true privilege and I relish the opportunity to deliver exceptional person-centred care in a ground-breaking environment.

Will Burke

Customer Liaison Manager

Having worked for seven years in a similar role for another luxury care provider, I am thrilled to join Signature at Wandsworth Common as a Customer Liaison Manager. I have a track record of success, having taken a challenged home to its highest ever occupancy in my previous role. As a qualified Dementia Champion, I am also committed to helping those living with memory loss, having previously helped set up a regional Dementia Action Alliance with a local church.

Signature are known as the best in terms of quality of care and quality of design, and in these area as well as many others they are always one step ahead of other care providers. This ethos is one I share, and I am delighted to be working for the best provider in the business.

In my role, I am the first point of contact for families seeking care. I am dedicated to using my knowledge and experience to act as a guide and to help families through what can be a difficult time of life.

Signature at Wandsworth Common is a truly special home, as this level of care is not usually available in such a central, accessible location. Residents will have a great range of facilities and attractions available right on their doorstep. I’m also excited to be part of such a technologically advanced, stylishly designed and luxurious home.

Hollie Lockhart

Having worked in Marketing and PR for the past 8 years in the care and new homes industry. I am delighted to have joined such an exceptional team and to be working at Signature’s flagship care home in Wandsworth Common.

Anna Beal

Nursing Care Manager

My journey into care started over 20 years ago when, whilst studying at art college, I worked as a healthcare assistant within a nursing home. It was a rewarding experience that redirected my career plans from art to medicine. In 2004 I qualified as a registered general adult nurse and went straight on to complete a Renal & Urology rotation within the NHS.

Following a short period working abroad, I returned to the UK and moved directly into private healthcare where, over the course of 10 years, I progressed from a Clinic Nurse position to a Lead Nurse. In 2019 I completed my Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification and advanced to a Nurse Manager role, allowing me to share my skills and support the training and development of others.

I’m extremely proud and honoured to be appointed as the Nurse Care Manager at Signature Wandsworth Common; not only is it a beautiful environment but the place truly feels like home. When I was offered the position, I knew it was the role for me – after 16 years working as a nurse in a variety of settings it feels  like I’ve come full circle. I am very passionate about nursing and always strive to provide exceptional standards of care in the safest of environments. I look forward to the challenges and experiences that Signature has to offer and the relationships that I will build with residents and their loved ones in the future.

Narcis Milhailescu

Dementia Care Manager

Caring has always been a big part of my life, growing up I was the main carer for a member of my family which ignited my passion for the caring profession. This lead to me studying nursing at university in Romania in 2009 after gaining my qualification and practicing in Romania for a few years I moved to England in 2015. I first moved to Derbyshire where I worked as a carer for two years. After this I was promoted to nurse’s assistant and subsequently lead all the training for dementia carers for the business. I am extremely passionate about giving residents the best care and most fulfilling lives. In my role of dementia care manager . I am committed to continuous learning and supporting my staff to be the very best they can be.

What I love most about my role is seeing how we are able to have such a positive impact on residents day to day lives. Seeing the smiles on their faces is the best feeling. Signature is a fantastic company to work for I feel very supported in my role and also with any ideas I have to support our residents.

Outside of work I have a passion for sport with my biggest achievement is being Romania’s National Backstroke champion in the 100m.

Giuseppe Pepe

Head of Hospitality

Having recently joined the team at Wandsworth Common, I’m looking forward to the challenge and all the opportunities that this beautiful home has to offer. I’m delighted to bring a wealth of experience to the home with over 25 years’ experience of managing an array of different departments in both Corporate and Healthcare environments, were high standards and excellent customer service were paramount.

I have been very privileged to work with, and meet,  some  amazing people during my career, but I can positively say that no other role has been as fulfilling and rewarding as the ones I had while working within a care home: the smile of the residents, and knowing I might be able to make a positive impact in their daily routine, is the main reason why I love my job.

Having started my career as a craft trained chef, I strongly believe that the dining and front of house experience for our residents is a vital and positive part of their time spent here, hence why it will be my priority to ensure our residents always have the best service possible.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking, and when I’m not in the kitchen testing and tasting new recipes I like to spend time outdoors preferably by the sea, while enjoying the views. I am also a very proud father to my 12 year old daughter, I relish spending time with her particularly playing squash or badminton together.
